What is Let’s Talk?

Let’s Talk is a counseling center outreach program designed to engage students who would not otherwise come to counseling due to stigma or other barriers by providing informal walk-in consultations outside of the counseling center on campus. Staff hold confidential consultations at The Multicultural Center Monday through Thursday. Students are encouraged to drop by and talk about whatever is important to them, much as they might talk with a TA, residence hall director, or academic adviser.

Speaking with a Let’s Talk staff member can provide insight, solutions, and useful information about other resources.

Let’s Talk consultations are:

  • Free
  • Confidential
  • No appointment necessary
  • Monday, Tuesday, Thurday, and Friday, 3:10-5pm at the Multicultural Center, Reflection Room #1
  • Wednesday, 3:10-5pm at the Memorial Union Room 3243
