A: Series of 5 8o minute workshops; 1 topic covered each week for 5 weeks

Q: How do I get started with a workshop?
A: Simply come to Student Counseling Services for a short Triage and ask about Quick Start Workshops.
Q: When are workshops?
A: workshops are offered at a variety of times throughout the week. You will continue attending these workshops on the same day & time each week until you have attended all 5 sessions.
Spring 2013 days and times are as follows:
Monday: 4:10-5:30 pm
Tuesday: 4:10-5:30 pm
Wednesday: 12:10-1:30 pm
Thursday: 9:00-10:30am
Q: Why might I be referred to the ‘Quick Start’ Workshops?
A: Although students come to Student Counseling Services (SCS) with a wide variety of concerns, therapists have found many people benefit from building skills in the five major areas addressed through this workshop series.
Q: What if I need more services when the workshop series ends?
A: At the end of the workshop series, you will have an opportunity to discuss further needs with the SCS Clinical Care Coordinator. : We encourage you to give the workshops a try!
Q: Will I have to share personal information with other people?
A: Confidentiality will be stressed at the start each workshop. Members will be encouraged to share your experiences based upon your own comfort level.
